We’re BigBlilT—Brian & Tayler Williams!
We’re coming up on our 7th wedding anniversary this month, and we’ve been together for 12 years—since high school. Our love story started at the Grizzly Rose on family night. Brian was 15, Tay was 16, and yes—Brian’s mom dropped him off for their first date so Tay could drive. 😂
Fast forward to today: We’ve got two beautiful girls, Noa (4) and Jayla (2), and two Frenchtons, Rhino and Tiki. It’s wild thinking back to when we used to dream about the life and family we now get to live.
But our story isn’t just about love and laughter—it’s about redemption, surrender, and transformation.
From 2017 to 2024, we walked through a wilderness. Brian was exposed to porn at 5 years old and carried a porn addiction since he was 12—a wound that began in childhood and grew into a hidden stronghold that nearly tore everything apart. What started as a way to numb childhood pain quickly became a source of false comfort, identity, and shame that led into many other ways to numb life (alcohol, drugs, cars…).
When we met in high school, Tay saw through the “bad boy” and into Brian’s heart. But behind the charm and love was a battle he didn’t fully understand or know how to fight. That secret sin began to steal, kill, and destroy— our relationship, our self-worth, and our connection to God.
In 2017, while at a self-development event in California, Brian finally spoke the words: “I’m struggling. I need help.” Tay received his confession with tears and love—but what we didn’t know then was that it would spark a seven-year battle full of breakdowns, breakthroughs, healing, and God’s mercy.
It was messy. There were moments on bathroom floors, silent suffering, and nights where shame drowned out hope. But there were also deep love, unforgettable memories, and a constant thread of God pursuing us even when we didn’t know how to pursue Him.
In 2022, everything changed. Brian gave his life to Christ—alone in a Mack truck on the side of a mountain—wrecked by the Holy Spirit after hearing a testimony from Steve Weatherford on a podcast. That surrender was the beginning of the shift. Tay had prayed for years… and Jesus answered.
From that day on, God began reshaping our desires, our minds, and our lives. We cut off anything that didn’t serve God’s purpose: social media, distractions, unhealthy content. Brian sought out community with godly men. He called those coffee meetups his “life jackets.” Week by week, he began rising above the waves.
In 2024, God asked us to make a leap of faith—and we jumped.
We sold our house, paid off our debt, moved into Tay’s parents’ basement, and completely rearranged our lives to make room for what God wanted to do. Tay stepped into full-time motherhood ministry. Brian left his job to pursue the stirring God had put on his heart. We placed our lives on the altar—fully surrendered.
Then came the breakthrough.
Through pursuing mentorship with Steve Weatherford and a men’s event called the Launching Pad, Brian declared that he was done living in bondage. One night, he came home, looked Tay in the eyes, and said, “I believe God can fully take this from me. Would you come into agreement with me (Matthew 18:19–20) and burn the burdens with me?”
That night, we lit a fire.
That night, we prayed in faith.
That night, everything changed.
Brian received a new identity—not just sobriety, but freedom. He walked into the Launching Pad a broken man and came home on fire for Jesus, activated and unshackled. Over the past year, Tay has watched her husband become the leader she always believed was inside him—a man of God, bold in his identity, humble in his walk, and filled with the Spirit.
Now we live in freedom, identity, and authority.
The addiction that once defined our story?
Now it’s the platform for God’s glory.
What the enemy meant for evil, God is using for good (Romans 8:28).
We were never planning to return to social media…
But we’re back—to tell the truth, to bring hope, and to testify that freedom is real in Jesus’ name.
So here we are:
Still learning. Still growing.
But no longer hiding.
No longer in chains.
We are redeemed. Restored. Recommissioned.
This is BigBlilT. This is our story.
And we’re bringing you with us on the journey.
Because Jesus changed everything—and we’ll never stop sharing that good news. ❤️
